Our approach is guided by science and innovation, ensuring that we align with global climate goals.

At a group level, since 2022, Wilmar International have committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aligning with the 1.5 degrees pathway. Sugar Australia has adopted SBTi methodology and we are working towards being net zero by 2050, with clear milestones along the way to reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency, by investing in new technologies.
